WYATT ROUTSON

Wyatt was born and raised in Broadview Heights. After graduating Brecksville-Broadview Heights High School, he then attended the University of Cincinnati. After completing his degree in political science, he decided that he wasn’t cut out for law school and set his sites on becoming a professional brewer.

 

He taught himself how to homebrew and began bartending to improve his knowledge of different beer styles as well as explaining the intricacies and history of beer to customers. He then attended the Siebel Institute in Chicago, IL. After graduation, he worked at Willoughby Brewing as an assistant and worked his way up to head brewer. Working alongside Brewmaster Rick Seibt, they won a variety of local and national awards, which culminated in a World Beer Cup Gold Medal in 2014.

 

In addition to being an award-winning brewer, Wyatt is also a brown belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and competes regularly in submission grappling events. He is also a former male model, an avid fan of pro wrestling, and enjoys spending time with his wife Christina, and their dog Mildred.
