Wednesday, March 4th: "Project Hail Mary" by Andy Weir
"Ryland Grace is the sole survivor on a desperate, last-chance mission—and if he fails, humanity and the earth itself will perish. Except that right now, he doesn’t know that. He can’t even remember his own name, let alone the nature of his assignment or how to complete it. All he knows is that he’s been asleep for a very, very long time. And he’s just been awakened to find himself millions of miles from home, with nothing but two corpses for company. His crewmates dead, his memories fuzzily returning, Ryland realizes that an impossible task now confronts him. Hurtling through space on this tiny ship, it’s up to him to puzzle out an impossible scientific mystery—and conquer an extinction-level threat to our species. And with the clock ticking down and the nearest human being light-years away, he’s got to do it all alone. Or does he? An irresistible interstellar adventure as only Andy Weir could deliver, Project Hail Mary is a tale of discovery, speculation, and survival to rival The Martian—while taking us to places it never dreamed of going."

Wednesday, April 1st: "All Her Fault" by Andrea Mara
"One missing boy. Marissa Irvine arrives at 14 Tudor Grove, expecting to pick up her young son Milo from his first playdate with a boy at his new school. But the woman who answers the door isn't a mother she recognizes. She isn't the nanny. She doesn't have Milo. And so begins every parent's worst nightmare. -- Four guilty women. As news of the disappearance filters through the quiet Dublin suburb and an unexpected suspect is named, whispers start to spread about the women most closely connected the shocking event. Because only one of them may have taken Milo - but they could all be blamed... -- In a community full of secrets, who is really at fault?"

Wednesday, May 6th: "Buckeye: Novel" by Patrick Ryan
"In Bonhomie, Ohio, a stolen moment of passion, sparked in the exuberant aftermath of the Allied victory in Europe, binds Cal Jenkins, a man wounded not in war but by his inability to serve in it, to Margaret Salt, a woman trying to obscure her past. Cal’s wife, Becky, has a spiritual gift: She is a seer who can conjure the dead, helping families connect with those they’ve lost. Margaret’s husband, Felix, is serving on a Navy cargo ship, out of harm’s way—until a telegram suggests that the unthinkable might have happened.
Later, as the country reconstructs in the postwar boom, a secret grows in Bonhomie—but nothing stays buried forever in a small town. Against the backdrop of some of the most transformative decades in modern America, the consequences of that long-ago encounter ripple through the next generation of both families, compelling them to reexamine who they thought they were and what the future might hold.
Sweeping yet intimate, rich with piercing observation and the warmth that comes from profound understanding of the human spirit, Buckeye captures the universal longing for love and for goodness."

Wednesday, June 3rd: "The Day the World Came to Town" by Jim Defede.
"On September 11, 2001, when U.S. airspace was suddenly shut down, dozens of international flights were forced to land in the small town of Gander, Newfoundland — nearly doubling its population overnight. The Day the World Came to Town tells the remarkable true story of how this quiet, close-knit community responded to an unprecedented crisis with extraordinary kindness. As thousands of stranded passengers grappled with fear, confusion, and grief, the people of Gander opened their homes, kitchens, and hearts to complete strangers. Through deeply human, often uplifting stories, Jim DeFede captures a powerful moment when compassion and generosity prevailed in the face of global tragedy."

Wednesday, July 1st: "Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time" by Mark Haddon
"The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time is a murder mystery novel like no other. The detective, and narrator, is Christopher Boone. Christopher is fifteen and has Asperger's Syndrome. He knows a very great deal about maths and very little about human beings. He loves lists, patterns and the truth. He hates the colours yellow and brown and being touched. He has never gone further than the end of the road on his own, but when he finds a neighbour's dog murdered he sets out on a terrifying journey which will turn his whole world upside down."
